[MKOB] MKOB Competition

Guys,

 

Before January's meeting I would like to try to clear up some issues that
have been carried over since last year and have the club members take a vote
on  a couple of issues. Please give me your feedback (vote) by January 5th. 

 

 

1         How many club members would like to continue with the beer
competition?

 

2         If a majority of club members vote to continue the club
competitions, how many club members would like to move the competition to a
separate day, possibly a Saturday afternoon, or evening? This would provide
additional time to taste and vote on the beers. If we hold the competition
quarterly, meeting an additional 3-4 times a year should not be that
difficult. It would also provide additional socialization among club
members. Also, we could always combine the completion with a barbecue or
other event to make it more enjoyable, and possibly spend more time judging
beers than we would have at the meeting. 

 

If we continue with the competition, we can discuss these issues further at
the meeting in January.  Club membership fees ($20) for 2008 are due in
January. Bring your cash.
