We are looking to hold our event at Gordon Biersch Brewery in New Orleans on
the 20th.

My name is Sean Hickey.  I am the Chair of the Louisiana Section of the
American Chemical Society.  We have monthly meetings with invited speakers
from around the country.  In March, our speaker is Tracy Hamilton of the
University of Alabama at Birmingham.  His topic is "Zymurgy, the Art and
Science of Making Beer".  Tracy mentioned your group and the Crescent City
homebrewers club.  He suggesting contacting you and inviting your members to
our meeting.  

I saw on your website that you meet on the third Thursday of each month,
which would be March 15th.  Our meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, March
20th.  

If possible, I would love to have your group at the meeting with us.  We
usually have a dinner meeting with social time, then dinner and then the
talk.  I was hoping for this meeting to meet at a restaurant that brews
their own beer.  

I know some of our members have in the past been involved with the brewing
clubs and it may be a way for you to recruit or at least introduce yourself
to our members.
