At the last meeting there was discussion of including Dan Stein's place on the pub crawl, and I promised to speak with him on this matter.

I did and Dan is very receptive to being a stop along the pub crawl route. I have been there three times already, and, well, it is a must place for the food. I have had the best Ruben sandwich ever there. Dan said we could arrange for a pre-planned tray for food, or whatever we would like.

He will not have the liquor license by June, however we could bring in our own wine, beer. etc. On the pub crawl, it would be good to have a place to detox and input some food and this would be a great stop.

Today in the New Orleans newapaper Lagniappe there's a great article about Dan's place - so try to read it if you want a better idea of what it's all about.
