[MKOB] Thermostats and Refrigerators

Does anyone know how to replace a thermostat in a fridge with one with a
larger range.

 

I picked up a fridge and I want to ferment in it, but the 'warmest' it will
get is around 50 degrees.

 

I've heard that you can replace the internal thermostat with a 'house' type.
 

 

Have anyone done this?
