I use the entry form for the AHA Club Only competition. It has three benefits:
A) Very thorough
B) To enter competitions, you only need to photocopy it
C) Accepted by nearly all competitions

Tom,
I wanted to log my brews electronically without using a cumbersome Word doc and/or an Excel spreadsheet. Being a quasi-geek (actually, I’m a full-fledged geek, who am I kidding), I decided to develop my own web-based logging system. BrewBlogger was born and I have been tweaking it ever since – adding calculators, reference pages, tasting review postings, etc. in addition to the log and recipe repositories.
Anyway, my personal brew log is located here: http://brewlog.zkdigital.com . There you'll find logs for each of the beers I've brewed for the past year and how I organize them. Let me know what you think. I've set up a download page on SourceForge so anyone can download the source code for free. The address is https://sourceforge.net/projects/brewblogger/ .
Bear in mind that I'm a universe away from being a brewing guru; therefore, what I’ve set up suits my needs now. As my skills evolve, I'll probably be adding more stuff – that’s a geek technical term.
