I don't want to rekindle a blog but I am enclosing some ads for beer tasting
festivals as they should be run and more along the line that I think Tom had
in mind.  One is in Nashville TN the other in Birmingham Alabama and they
have several things in common that make a tasting Festival both fun,
educational and safe:  The key ingredients in all the festivals are food,
educational brewing (Tennessee), music and lots of time to sample.  The
thing that separates these festivals from WYES is the time given for beer
sampling.  The Music City Festival allows 6hrs. for  sampling beers from 30
breweries (less beer than Wyes) along with food and entertainment.  The
Magic City festival has 2 sessions each 4 hrs long to sample about 25

HOME BREWERS AS WELL AS THE SO CALLED "RESPONSIBILITY PEDDLING" DISTRIBUTORS
