They do have bigger sleepers for families of four. We have a pretty
creative group. I am sure we will think of something.

    Sleeper cars are tiny.  If you had a cooler of beer in there,
probably max 2 people would be in the room at a time, and that would be
cramped.  I'm not saying I'm against these trips, in fact, they sound
fun.  I'm just adding from my experiences in the past.

unfortunately there is no route to Nashville. There is a route to
Raleigh/Durham NC. It looks like they have a good number of pubs and
breweries in the area, including a Flying Saucer. The train ride appears
to be a 21 hour ride with a 6 hour layover in Charlotte NC. We could
stop there for a day and tour there pubs. The train ride cost about
275.00 round trip. We could bring our own beer, but has to be consumed
in a sleeper car. I did see they have a group rate for at least 20
people. We will talk about this at our next meeting Jan 17th at Abita
Brew Pub. Let me know of your thoughts, interest, ECT. 

The Memphis trip is around 100 round trip, but we would have to arrange
transportation to Nashville.
