Dear MKOBers,

    I've attached a very interesting article that I thought some may 
like to read.  As most of you know, I'm very into mead and have been for 
years.  But over the last couple years, honey has become more and more 
expensive, due to the situation with beekeeping in the U.S.

    This article was written by an entomologist and professor at Penn 
State.  It is just the first part of the paper, please see the bottom 
where there are links to the last two parts of the paper.

    If you are not interested in the state of the honey bee today, 
please just disregard.
