PBW is a caustic cleaner, and OxyClean (look for OxyClean Free) is an
oxygen based cleaner. Oxygen cleaners will turn aluminum a blue gray
color, but I don't think it does any harm to it. Unscented OxyClean
works well, but I've found it's not as good as PBW, especially with
bottles, beer stone, and burnt malt in pots.
