[MKOB] Ginger Beer Plant!

Ron,
    I haven't looked into it, but I have had a few commercial ginger 
beers in the past.  It sort of sounds like (from the brief description 
in the link) that the brewing process is similar to making sake ... i.e. 
with the bacteria and such.

    I will say this, you'd better really like the taste of ginger if 
you're going to do this ... because the commercial ginger beers I tasted 
were hot and spicy ... and possibly good for making a stir fry with or 
something like that, but not great for drinking.  Of course everyone's 
taste is different.
