I can echo what Russ said, pretty cool events but a little pricey. I'll be there and have my steak bloody rare.

ummmm in Lacombe, we have Sal's, probably a little too pricey.
New Orleans Bistro ..... We would proably be in the corner somewhere.
Janie Browns ..... Again probably in a corner, although they're bigger.
That leaves Pepi's. I do like the food (Mexican) but lacking in beer selection, but they had a seperat room.
There's a fairly new Daquirie place, but I haven't been in it. Looks small.
My house. Small selection of good beer. :-)

I went and checked out is banquet room saturday and started gathering info for Anthony to contact the manager. We are totally separate so it will be a nice quiet private room. He does have a good selection of beer. Not great numbers, but the ones he has are really good. A little bit of everything, from IPAs to barley wines, imperial stouts, belgians, imports, etc. Little pricey, but worth it to get a private room, and better selection than most of the places we meet at. I did pick up a bottle of Sierra Nevada 2009 harvest ale. Haven't tried it yet, but looking forward to it.
Now if we can find a place to have a meeting in Lacombe, we can have locations for all areas of St. Tammany.

I'll be there. This is a nice place. They have a good selection of
premium beers. It will not be a cheap place to drink, but we will have a
good selection of beers that you won't find too many other places in the
area. I've never been in his party rooms, so I can't comment. But each
time I've been there for an event, it's been nice. If we pick X beers to
put into the cooler, are we obligated as a club to have all those sold
by the end of the meeting?
Let me know if you need anything taken care of over there, it's not too
far. And I appreciate having a meeting in Slidell! :-)
